The Venizelos Foundation USA presents: Venizelos and the International System: Determining the Relationship Between Greece and the World with Evanthis Hatzivassiliou.

Evanthis Hatzivassiliou was born in 1966 in Doxato, Drama, East Macedonia region of Greece. He graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1987, and received his MA and Ph.D. in International History from the London School of Economics in 1989 and 1992, respectively. He currently serves as Professor at the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Athens, and as Secretary-General of the Foundation of the Greek Parliament for Parliamentarism and Democracy. He is a Fellow of the Eleftherios Venizelos Foundation, and a member of the Greek-Turkish forum.
